Weimaraner Breeding
Weimaraner or Weimar Pointer and its elegant beauty
The Weimaraner or Weimar Pointer is considered one of the most noble and exclusive dogs, mostly for its proud and regal bearing, its elegant grey coat and affectionate character, it is easily trainable.
Weimaraner represent one of the proudest, most elegant and graceful dog breeds you can ever admire. They are hunting dogs with an aristocratic bearing, in fact once they were the only dogs allowed to live at the German Court with their owners. From these “privileged” origins comes their tendency to establish a very deep emotional relationship with humans, which must be nourished with continuous attentions and displays of affection.
The Weimaraner shows great perseverance, working in a very systematic way, without being excessively lively. Its fine sense of smell is famous. It points the prey confidently on land and in water, so it is the ideal companion for hunters. This big sized dog is a great worker, and it adapts well to the role of family dog, as it protects in an excellent way its house from potential intruders.
